Mississippi State licensed contractors carrying an approved license from the Mississippi State Board of Contractors shall not be required to obtain a City of Louisville privilege. All residential, commercial, industrial, educational and places of worship contracted work over fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) shall have a State of Mississippi Board of Contractors license. Except for one and two family dwelling work all others over ten thousand dollars ($10,000) shall provide a Material Purchase Certificate from the Mississippi State Tax Association. All HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical work of any dollar amount shall be performed by a Mississippi State Board of Contractors licensed contractor per State law. |
